Job Description

• The Office of the Ombudsman of Neighborhoods is committed to providing an independent, neutral, impartial, and confidential (wherein requested) platform for informal grievance exploration, resource sharing, community engagement, and collaborative discussion.
• ttends meetings with constituents and key leaders.
• Receives referrals for escalations and issues requiring Ombuds services.
• Collaborates with the Senior Advisor/Chief Policy Officer and the Mayor to debrief concerns and priorities.
• Convenes collaborative conversations and informal facilitations to address stakeholders and constituent concerns.
• Engages concerns received from stakeholders to develop solutions and paths to conciliation.
• Provide resource referrals and recommendations.
• Serve as a confidential point of contact for the discussion of concerns and inquiries.
• Make recommendations regarding accessing resources.
• Operates within the protocol of an organizational Ombuds according to the practices of The International Ombudsman Association and The Ombudsman Association.
• Provides a Trend Report.
