Our office is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Oral Surgery Assistant. We provide quality care to patients, with a focus on developing lasting, trusted relationships between patients and staff. As an Oral Surgery Assistant, you will assist with pre-surgical care and education, vital tasks during surgeries, and post-surgical care. Provide chairside assistance to the surgeon, and sterilize and store instruments after us. You may also perform other clerical tasks as required. No Saturdays or evenings! Oral Surgery Assistant Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet patients and perform pre-surgical preparations
• Assist the oral surgeon during surgery.
• Provide post-operative instruction to patients regarding healing and care
• Operate x-ray equipment
• Disinfect, sterilize, and store equipment after use

Oral Surgery Assistant Requirements and Qualifications

• Prior dental assisting experience preferred but will train a new graduate.
• All relevant state licensure
• CPR and X-ray certification
• Strong communications skills
