Job Title: Industrial Painter
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team, specializing in painting large bridges. This role requires expertise in various painting techniques and the ability to work with industrial-grade equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding and cleaning.
• Mix paints to achieve desired colors and consistencies.
• Apply industrial paint using spray guns and other equipment.
• Ensure proper use of paint booths for safety and quality.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using spray guns for industrial painting.
• Ability to perform paint preparation tasks such as sanding.
• Experience working in paint booths.
• Knowledge of industrial painting techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with paint mixing processes.
• Understanding of safety standards related to PPE.

Work Environment

The position involves working in an industrial setting, often outdoors on large structures like bridges. Candidates must be comfortable with using heavy-duty equipment and adhering to safety regulations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Cordova, Alabama.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
