Job Description

Responsibilities To provide peer recovery support services and coaching to recovery housing participants, utilizing recovery management tools. Provide coaching and recovery support to participants according to the Hazelden Betty Ford standards of care Provide assistant to clients in the form of helping clients find resources, making phone calls, and helping clients with daily tasks for living in recovery housing As required by site, monitor and maintain medication administration needs, med logs and storage cabinet. Follow Medication administration policies and procedures. Report medication needs in notes or medication concerns needing follow‑up in staff log and to appropriate staff Ensure site/building is in compliance with safety regulations including fire and guest/visitor expectations Qualifications Required Qualifications: HS Diploma or the equivalent Certification and training in peer support services Experience providing peer support in a 12‑Step program as well as other recovery pathways Training/proficiency in computer applications, and Microsoft products, Office, Word, PowerPoint, Windows, and Excel, along with the use of internet as work tools Public speaking, group presentation experience Must be age 18 or older Must have a current driver’s license Current CPR certification or obtain within 30 days Certification must be from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
