We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physician Liaison to join our private physician-owned gastroenterology (GI) clinic. The Physician Liaison will be responsible for creating and implementing PR strategies to increase physician referrals, community awareness, and patient engagement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing successful PR campaigns, creating engaging content, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute PR strategies to increase physician referrals, community awareness, and patient engagement.
  • Create and manage content for various platforms such as social media, blogs, websites, and email marketing.
  • Develop relationships with physicians, medical staff, community partners, and media contacts to promote the clinic's services and initiatives.
  • Plan and coordinate community events, outreach programs, and health fairs to increase the clinic's visibility and patient engagement.
  • Monitor and report on PR KPIs and metrics, including media coverage and social media engagement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, media opportunities, and community events to identify potential opportunities for the clinic.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in public relations, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging content.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful PR campaigns.
  • Experience in event planning and community outreach programs
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of PR KPIs and metrics with the ability to analyze and report on data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and content management systems
