Zoom Drain of Hillsboro and Southern Ohio is looking for an experienced Plumber/Field Service Technician to join our team. The candidate will be based out of our Hillsboro office and is responsible for providing on-site client installation, repairs, and maintenance of their equipment.  

The ideal candidate is prompt and reliable, has superior support skills and excellent communication. He/she will have a proven track record of client satisfaction and is motivated to provide superior service.

Responsibilities: 

• Troubleshoot issues and resolve any requests or concerns that come up in a timely manner. Perform repairs or replacements on plumbing systems, including underground piping, cleanouts and fixtures. Accurately diagnose plumbing, drain and sewer issues, including clogs, blockages and line damage.
• Operate necessary plumbing tools to complete jobs
• Operate high velocity jetters, cable machines, and camera inspection equipment.
• Perform thorough video inspections and document findings for customers and service records.
• Maintain relationships with customers and follow company guidelines.
• Create reports of customer service calls. Make suggestions for equipment upgrades while maintaining the current inventory, including vans and trucks.
• Communicate clearly with customers about diagnoses, services performed, and any necessary follow ups.
• Provide estimates, explain service options, and offer solutions with professionalism and care.
• Build customer confidence and trust with expert knowledge and a helpful attitude.

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to build strong relationships with the customer and display excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage your workflow in a timely and consistent manager
• Ability to lift to 55 pounds
• Problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Knowledgeable about all safety requirements
