Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hedge Fund Portfolio Manager to join our team. As a Portfolio Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the investment strategy and management of our hedge funds portfolio. This role requires strong analytical skills deep knowledge of financial markets and the ability to make informed investment decisions to maximize returns while managing risk effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement investment strategies to achieve targeted returns while adhering to risk management guidelines.
2. Conduct indepth research and analysis to identify investment opportunities across various asset classes including equities fixed income derivatives and alternative investments.
3. Monitor portfolio performance and make timely adjustments to optimize returns and mitigate risks.
4. Stay abreast of market trends economic indicators and geopolitical events that may impact investment decisions.
5. Build and maintain relationships with clients providing regular updates on portfolio performance and investment outlook.
6. Collaborate with other team members including analysts and traders to execute investment strategies effectively.
7. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies governing hedge fund operations.
8. Continuously evaluate and enhance investment processes and procedures to drive performance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in finance economics or a related field; advanced degree (e.g. MBA CFA) preferred.
2. Proven track record of success as a portfolio manager with a demonstrated ability to generate alpha and manage risk.
3. Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills including proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex investment ideas clearly and persuasively.
5. Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
6. Solid understanding of financial markets investment products and trading strategies.
7. Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity in investment decisionmaking.
8. Experience with hedge fund operations including fund administration prime brokerage and legal/compliance considerations is a plus.
