Job Title: Powder Coat Painter | 1st shift | $18-$25/hr | Canton, OH

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Wet and Powder Coat Painter to join our team for the 1st shift. The work schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, with occasional work on Fridays as needed. The position is based in Canton, OH.

Responsibilities

• Paint industrial equipment using spray systems and a powder coat line.
• Set up and clean spray guns independently.
• Understand and measure paint thickness in mills.
• Change wet tanks and feed hoppers.
• Perform color and powder changes, and be knowledgeable about different paints such as enamel and acrylic.
• Maintain the wash line and prime parts before painting.
• Conduct quality checks on finished items.

Essential Skills

• Experience in industrial painting and powder coating.
• Proficiency with spray systems.
• Knowledge of paint pressures and mills.
• Familiarity with different types of paints such as acrylic and enamel.
• Ability to operate and maintain paint sprayers and spray guns.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with powder coating is a plus.
• Ability to measure paint thickness in mills.
• Experience with color and powder changes.
• Capability to set up and clean spray guns.
• Experience in maintaining wash lines.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
