We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Powder Coat Line Supervisor to oversee daily operations of our powder coating line. This role is responsible for ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of powder coating processes, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all activities on the powder coat line, including pre-treatment, coating, curing, and inspection.
• Ensure production schedules are met with minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
• Monitor and maintain quality standards; perform visual and physical inspections of finished products.
• Train, coach, and evaluate team members to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues; coordinate with maintenance as needed.
• Maintain accurate production records, inventory levels, and documentation.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Quality, Maintenance, Logistics) to ensure smooth workflow.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Assist on the line as needed.

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a powder coating or industrial painting environment.
• 1+ years of supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of powder coating equipment, materials, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical documents.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, ERP systems).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 65 lbs for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and chemicals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in powder coating or industrial finishing.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
