The hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.

Starting November 3rd, the hours will change to 6:30 am - 3:00 pm.

Good attendance is paramount to being successful in this role.

Salary Range: $18.39 - $23.51 per hour

Role and Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up fabricated equipment parts for wash cycle (may require the use of a fork lift for large and/or heavy parts)
• Test chemicals to maintain proper levels in wash tank
• Stage the washed parts for powder coating
• Plan cleaning of equipment parts to meet customer delivery schedules
• Ensure that quantities of parts are correct to complete machine runs
• Keep powder room maintained and in good operating condition.
• Resourcefulness in identifying new tasks and projects once current assignments are completed
• Versatility in performing various roles within the department as needed
• Proficiency in matching and assembling appropriate parts with respective machines"
• Passion for driving the company towards its strategic goals and objectives
• Commitment to working diligently until scheduled breaks and lunchtime
• Other duties as assigned (including substituting for Production Washer either on a scheduled rotating basis or as needed due to vacations, illness, etc.)

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Incumbent shall have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior relevant work experience or vocational training.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

• Ability to follow directions

• Ability to work around fumes

• Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day

• Perform routine bending from waist

• Ability to use arms/hands (reach above head)

• Strong work ethic

• Good attendance/punctuality

• Ability to talk and hear frequently

• Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms (above head)

• Ability to work around moving mechanical parts, equipment

Personal protective Equipment:

• Shoot suit

• Steel-toed shoes

Work Environment:

A warehouse setting with concrete floors. The temperature will vary with the seasons (hot/cold). The use of stairs may be necessary, yet an elevator is available. The noise level is loud.
