Job Description: As a Powder Coater at BoatEFX, you will be responsible for applying powder coatings to our steel and aluminum boat accessories and parts. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our products are durable, aesthetically pleasing, and meet our high standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare parts and surfaces for powder coating, including cleaning, masking, and blasting as necessary.
• Apply powder coating using electrostatic spray equipment.
• Operate and maintain powder coating equipment and ovens.
• Inspect coated items for quality, ensuring proper coverage, thickness, and adherence.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in powder coating, with a strong understanding of the coating process.
• Knowledge of various powder coating materials and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and production orders.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
