About the Job:
Stripes Logistics is seeking dedicated and reliable Power-Only Tractor Owner-Operators to handle Amazon loads within the Greater Dallas area . This is a perfect opportunity for those with a tractor and the desire to work in a local, drop-and-hook environment. If you’re looking for consistent work, flexible hours, and guaranteed loads, we want you on our team!

Location: Greater Houston Area.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Truck Requirements :
  • Must own a Power-Only Tractor (no trailer required).
  • Tractor should be in good condition and DOT-compliant.
• Driver’s License :
  • Valid CDL license depending on your tractor setup.
• Experience :
  • Open to all experience levels.
• Compliance :
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Position Details:

• Compensation : Depending on performance and hours worked.
  • Earn more with consistent drops and hooks and efficient route management.
• Contract Type :
  • 1099 Independent Contractor position. You’ll be leased onto our company, but you operate independently.
• Route & Location :
  • This role is local to the Greater Houston area.
  • Amazon loads with drop-and-hook operations at various local facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Drop-and-Hook Operations :
  • Handle Amazon loads with ease in a straightforward drop-and-hook setup.
  • Pick up loaded trailers, deliver them, and hook back up to empty trailers for the next load.
• Timeliness & Efficiency :
  • Ensure timely pickups and deliveries to meet Amazon’s high standards.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and excellent communication with dispatchers and Amazon teams.
• Truck Maintenance :
  • Perform routine inspections on your tractor to ensure it's in top working condition and compliant with DOT regulations.
• Safety & Compliance :
  • Follow all safety protocols and FMCSA/DOT regulations to ensure safe and legal operation.
