As a Principal Civil Engineer Designer in San Diego, CA, you will have an opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary team on meaningful, landmark projects in the Southern California region. Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have a BSCE degree, California Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer is preferred but not required, plus a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in land development and/or public works; or the equivalent work experience of eight (8) years in the industry. Qualified candidates will also have a minimum of two (2) years of supervising the work of engineers, designers, and other project support staff.
Candidates for this position must demonstrate:
· Knowledge of jurisdictional codes, standards & procedures.
AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Bluebeam experience is required.
Additional Skills:
· Exhibits a thorough understanding of jurisdictional processing
· Accepts and responds appropriately to constructive feedback from others and applies seasoned time management
· Relates well and maintains a high level of respect and confidence from co-workers in public agencies
· Demonstrates a high level of competence in written and oral communication
· Ability to prepare exhibits, studies, and final plans
