Principal Visual Designer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Visual Designer with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Video/Photo Shoot Print Media Design Interactive PDF Infographics Video development and more. This role requires strong domain knowledge in Cards & Payments. The work model is hybrid with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of visual content for various media including video/photo shoots print media and interactive PDFs.
• Oversee the creation of infographics and video development projects to ensure high-quality output.
• Manage project costs and budgets effectively to ensure financial efficiency.
• Execute programs and manage project stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
• Utilize Vyond graphics animation Lectora Audacity and other tools to create compelling visual content.
• Apply visual design elements and fundamentals to enhance the aesthetic appeal of projects.
• Develop e-learning content using Articulate and Adobe Captivate.
• Create impactful presentations using MS PowerPoint.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and integrated design solutions.
• Provide creative direction and guidance to junior designers and team members.
• Ensure all visual content aligns with the companys brand guidelines and standards.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies to continuously improve design quality.
• Contribute to the companys purpose by creating visually appealing content that enhances user experience and engagement.

Qualifications

• Possess a strong background in visual design with expertise in Video/Photo Shoot Print Media Design Interactive PDF Infographics and Video development.
• Demonstrate proficiency in project cost and budget management program execution and project stakeholder management.
• Have hands-on experience with Vyond graphics animation Lectora Audacity and visual design elements and fundamentals.
• Be skilled in using Articulate Adobe Captivate and MS PowerPoint for creating e-learning content and presentations.
• Exhibit strong domain knowledge in Cards & Payments.
• Show the ability to lead and mentor junior designers.
• Display excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The annual salary for this position is between $55,578 – 125,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
