We are looking to fill this role in our Portland, Oregon office with an exceptional, forward thinking, operationally minded individual who is motivated by multifaceted and cross-functional projects. This central role will manage key internal processes ensuring they are efficiently and effectively executed from product inception to Go-to-Market execution. Our ideal candidate can help us define, develop, implement, communicate, and maintain our project calendars, process tools, and ways of working both on the interpersonal side and the technical side. As a young company experiencing unprecedented momentum and growth, this role will be essential to maintaining our operational efficiency across all product teams.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Calendar Development

  • Generate and implement baseline and seasonal product development calendars
  • Develop tracking and communication tools and systems
  • Lead detailed product calendars built on key footwear dependencies while accounting for multi-seasonal overlap
  • Partner with leadership to optimize product creation and Go-to-Market calendars ensuring cross functional adoption
  • Lead cross-functional alignment & resolution where necessary to ensure proper milestone execution
  • Assume proper stakeholder management and communication

Optimize Product Operations

  • Point of contact for initiatives across Product Development, Design, Merchandising, Marketing, and Operations to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Lead cross-functional and function specific meetings to drive change and efficiencies as well as communicate critical initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to find opportunities for process improvement, create and report critical metrics, and ensure landmarks are met
  • Establish repeatable processes to support product life cycle and continual optimization
  • Build tools for enhanced efficiency in product teams

Drive Operational Excellence

  • Lead project management activities to identify and execute product creation with key stakeholders across the organization
  • Drive operational efficiency throughout entire product development and Go-to-Market lifecycle
  • Assemble both quantitative & qualitative data to develop and track operational KPIs
  • Support the evaluation of business and technical requirements that the product creation and merchandising teams may need for future initiatives
  • Assess and communicate project risks, resolve bottlenecks, and proactively escalate potential issues to ensure deliverables are completed on time
  • Monitor due dates of work-in-progress and routinely communicate project status, alignment, project metrics and manage expectations

What You Bring :

  • 5+ years’ experience in Product Creation, Operations, or Process Function (footwear experience strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency in a project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Centric, etc.
  • Ability to assess current operations, and develop and implement an improved system and tools with project management software
  • Capability to navigate complexity, serve as a bridge across creative, technical, and analytical teams, and collaborate across leadership teams
  • Project management experience, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams supporting large scale change across an organization
  • Able to foster effective working relationships, drive clarity, and instill trust across teams
  • Possess strong communication skills, including listening skills and the ability to facilitate conversations and alignment across a variety of teams
  • Exemplify ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Resourceful, proactive, and highly motivated self-starter who is comfortable navigating in an ambiguous and dynamic environment
  • Great attention to detail with a lens for problem-solving. Ability to anticipate how decisions can affect our partners, products, other departments, and customers
  • Proficiency in Keynote, Microsoft Office, Teams
  • Minimal travel expected, but willing and able to travel as needed domestically or internationally
