Wisk's internship experience is a 12 week, hands-on program. Our goal for our internship program is to see what it's like to be a full time Wisk employee and complete meaningful work.
We are looking for a Production Engineering Intern to join our team for summer 2025. The goal of a Production Engineering Intern at Wisk is to ensure that continuous improvement is incorporated in the next generation of production system through design and data collection efforts. You will be part of the production engineering organization team that is responsible for delivering the aircraft and developing the production system that builds it.
Responsibilities: - As part of the Production Engineering organization you will act as an Industrial Engineer for a novel type of aircraft development targeting the autonomous UAM market
- You will take part in production data collection, production system design and continuous improvement efforts.
- You will help support problem solving activities related to active production as well as optimization of future production.
- You will take part in after-action reviews of production efforts as well as planning sessions for first-time builds
Requirements: - Must be currently pursuing a bachelors, masters or PhD degree with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2027
- Must be pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a similar field engineering field.
- Preferred experience in:
- Lean manufacturing
- Process analysis
- Data mining, forecasting and statistical analysis
- Workcell & factory layout
- Discrete event simulation and process modeling
- Production Acceptance Testing
Hourly rate will be $25 USD an hour.
This internship role will be based at Wisk's office in Mountain View, California and relocation or housing will not be provided.

You must be legally authorized to work in the US for the duration of Internship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Must live in the US at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins
Must be either a rising sophomore, junior, or senior in college
Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0, transcripts are required
Must be an enrolled student at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins
Must be able to work 40 hours a week for 12 weeks (full-time for 3 months)
