About the Role

The Company is seeking a Manager, Project Management 2 to serve as a Chief of Staff for the Senior Director of the business unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of all aspects of the business unit's operations. This includes integrating day-to-day operational objectives to meet financial and non-financial goals, preparing the business unit leader for senior-level meetings and customer engagements, and supporting the development and execution of the business unit's annual operating and long-range strategic plans. The role also involves serving as a trusted advisor, driving the execution of strategic initiatives, and acting as a focal point for communication and collaboration among functional and operating unit leaders. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years' of project management experience, the ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous environment, and a strategic mindset. The role requires strong collaboration skills, the ability to influence without direct authority, and a proven track record of building effective relationships. The candidate should be adept at anticipating and managing challenges, possess strong data analytic capabilities, and have excellent organizational and communication skills. A background in a technical or business-related field, a PMP or similar certification, and experience with the defense community and international programs are preferred. The position demands a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint, and the ability to travel domestically.
