Job Description
The RAQA Data Scientist is a key member of the Quality Data Analytics (QDA) team, leveraging technical expertise and understanding of quality and regulatory processes to transform data into insights. Collaborating with various teams, you will gather, clarify, and translate data requirements into solutions, reports, and analytics. Your role includes developing automated quality data analytics to improve metrics reporting and visualization using languages like Python and R. Strong expertise in AI (including LLMs, generative AI) and ML (deep learning, NLP, classification, forecasting) is essential to deliver innovative outcomes aligned with stakeholder needs.

Essential Job Duties

1. Assist stakeholders with ad-hoc statistical analyses.
2. Develop solutions to monitor product performance and detect anomalies.
3. Collaborate across teams to create data-driven decision tools.
4. Design analysis strategies and conduct investigations to identify issues and opportunities.
5. Build analytical models, including AI and ML, to interpret results and assess risks and value.
6. Partner with Data Science team to integrate new techniques into workflows.
7. Drive innovation in Quality Analytics, ensuring accuracy, documentation, and compliance.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in R and/or Python programming.
• Experience with analytic application frameworks like R Shiny, Streamlit, Bokeh, or Dash.
• Knowledge of machine learning models (Random Forest, Logistic Regression, XGBoost, etc.).
• Experience with statistical analyses (power analysis, ANOVA, Linear Regression, Mann-Whitney U).
• Strong data visualization skills.
• Ability to translate business problems into statistical solutions.
• Experience with version control tools like GitHub.
• Familiarity with LLMs is a plus.

• Stakeholder engagement experience for KPI development.

Education and Training

• Master's or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related fields with 2+ years in regulated health/biotech; or Bachelor's with 5+ years relevant experience.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience in medical devices, pharma, or regulatory industries.
• Advanced programming skills in Python/R for reporting.
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting practices.
• Familiarity with Intuitive products is preferred.
