We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. This opportunity is the perfect fit to complement a full-time position or for someone retired from the field and looking to work a few hours a week. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of clients' health needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the client, family, and care team
• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and health monitoring
• Supervise and delegate tasks to certified homemaker-home health aides and ensure competency in delegated tasks, as per NJ regulations
• Conduct regular home visits to evaluate client care and ensure compliance with the care plan (at least every 60 days)
• Provide education and support to clients and families, promoting health and safety
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a high standard of care
• Document all care and tasks in patient records, ensuring compliance with NJ Health Care Service Firm regulations (13:45B-14.7 and 13:45B-14.9)
• Stay up-to-date with the latest nursing practices and standards to provide the best care possible

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in New Jersey (required)
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, home health experience preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Strong understanding of health care service firm regulations, especially in home care settings
• Ability to supervise and train certified homemaker-home health aides in compliance with NJ regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and detail-oriented
• Strong organizational and time management skills
