Overview Right now this global hotel chain needs a data engineer to help with an implementation of a new CDP Platform called Amperity. They will be primarily responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines that unify, activate, and manage customer data across various systems. Their work enables personalized marketing, customer insights, and operational efficiency. The Senior Cloud/Data Engineer will build, optimize, and maintain our modern data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud-native data platforms, particularly Snowflake and AWS services, and will develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and feature engineering pipelines. This role will also analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion and provide status reports where required. Responsibilities Work with Product team to determine requirements and propose approaches to address users' needs. Analyze requirements to determine approach/proposed solution. Design and Build Solutions using relevant programming languages. Thoroughly test solutions using relevant approaches and tools. Bring out-of-box thinking and solutions to address challenging issues. Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment. Work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Skills and Requirements 5+ years of experience as a data engineer who has worked with customer data. Expert with Snowflake advanced features (tasks, stored procedures). Experience building data pipelines in AWS. CI/CD experience, building pipelines for the feature store (GitLab and CloudFormation). Experience with large enterprise Amperity. Local to Mexico City (client hub in Mexico City). Experience with CDP integration. Experience with feature stores; pipelines that publish data to a feature store (e.g., Tecton).
