Credit Account Manager/Lead Cashier

Management Responsibilities
The Credit Account Manager/Lead Cashier is responsible for, but not limited to, the following management functions:

• Establishing and maintaining a departmental organizational structure that supports all operational goals and objectives
• Managing the cashier schedule
• Managing, training, motivating, retaining, and recruiting cashier staff
• Ensuring daily reconciliation of accounts receivable and POS transactions

Operational Responsibilities
The Credit Manager’s operational duties include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining and enforcing the Company’s Credit Policy
• Ensuring all credit requests are processed accurately and within established timelines
• Analyzing the performance of existing customer accounts receivable
• Monitoring credit approvals and maintaining up-to-date customer account information
• Proactively identifying and addressing past-due accounts, including resolving complex or sensitive collection issues
• Promoting teamwork within a customer-service-focused environment
• Cashiering and ensuring optimal service is offered at the check out desk
• Running and distributing daily sales sheets
