Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic Roofer to join our team! In this role, you will cover roofs of modular drive-thru restaurants with roofing material designated in plans, as well as perform sealing and insulating processes as needed. You are hard-working, a team player, and dedicated to performing quality work in all that you do. Past experience as a roofer is preferred and a positive attitude is a must! 

Responsibilities: 

• Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs
• Cover roofs with appropriate materials (shingles, slate, etc.) 
• Cement or nail flashing strips of metal or shingle over joints to make them watertight
• Estimate materials and labor required to complete roofing jobs
• Interact professionally with customers and co-workers and effectively communicate about the scope and status of work 
• Inspect problem roofs to determine the best repair procedures if needed in the field

Qualifications : 

• Past experience as a roofer preferred 
• Experience with the use of hand-held and power tools
• Experience working with all types of building materials
• Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, comfortably lift 40+ pounds repetitively, and work on your feet for long periods of time
• Ability to work in extreme environments, e.g. hot sun, crawl spaces, etc. Most work done on site in our factory is under covered space.
• Some local travel may be required on occasion.
