Title: Safety Coordinator

Location: Fully Onsite - Baltimore, MD

Salary: up to $65,000.00 depending on level of experience

Travel Requirements: About 25% Occasional travel out of state is required (5-6 times per year)

Job Summary:

Responsible for conducting annual property and rooftop safety system inspections & assisting in the day-to-day operations of the company safety program.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct annual inspections of all business parks & rooftop safety systems across entire portfolio and report findings to management.
• Provide support to the Safety Manager. Includes new hire orientation, PPE management, safety training, and data entry.
• Conduct employee safety observations and coach employees on proper safety protocol.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Preferably in Occupational, Safety and Health. Will consider applicants with experience in Risk Management, Project Management, Construction Management or Inspection Roles.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to analyze data and report results in useful manner to management.
• Ability to present in front of a group.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments including rooftops and construction job sites
