About the Role

As a Safety Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
• Conduct routine safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Develop and deliver safety training for employees at all levels.
• Lead investigations into incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain safety records, training logs, and compliance documentation.
• Assist in updating and enforcing health and safety policies.
• Coordinate emergency response drills and inspect safety equipment.
• Foster a culture of safety through daily interaction and employee engagement.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• OSHA 30 certification (required); additional certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
• Strong communication and training skills.
• Attention to detail with a passion for safety and continuous improvement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and EHS software.

Preferred Skills

• Additional certifications in safety management.
• Experience with safety software and reporting tools.
