Distribution Sales/Management Trainee

Silmar Electronics, Inc., one of the largest independent wholesale distributors of low voltage electronic security, fire, CCTV, access control, home automation, commercial and residential sound systems, is currently seeking a talented individual to join our team at our Doral, FL headquarters.

Responsibilities will include:

• learning all aspects and responsibilities of wholesale distribution
• understanding the RMA/Return responsibilities
• while learning Silmar’s distribution model and areas of technology in the low voltage space, the candidate will begin working into an inside counter sales role. There could also be potential for future management roles.
• selling security products in accordance with our policies, principles, and procedures
• conducting telephone sales calls to our dealer network
• assisting our customers in selecting the right products for their applications
• keeping up to date with the latest products our vendors manufacture
• establishing and maintaining excellent customer relationships

This is an inside distribution sales/management trainee position with the potential to grow within the organization.

Qualifications: B2B Wholesale & customer service/sales experience is preferred. Computer or computer network experience or education, technical sales experience, low voltage security industry experience is desired but not a requirement.
