Position Summary:

As a growing company, we are always looking for new team members to help us continue in our success. Orgill, Inc. is currently seeking a Field Sales Trainee. The purpose of this position is to prepare employee for regular sales territory assignment to be determined at a later date. Training must first be completed, and a territory vacancy must occur. Training will consist of enhancing current selling and business management skills and developing other skills and knowledge required for a Sales Representative position. 

  • Complete internal formal training modules
  • Participate in sales meetings and customer markets
  • Participate in projects conducted at customer retail stores
  • Work in customer stores, at an Orgill distribution center, and the Customer Service Department
  • Travel with Sales Representatives, Sales Managers and Truck Drivers to observe and assist as assigned
  • Work selected sales territories in the absence of a regularly assigned Sales Representative
  • Must be willing to relocate at Company expense when assigned a territory.
  • Prefer candidate with Associate or Bachelor Degree.
  • Prefer candidate with at least two years of related business or sales experience in our industry (retail or wholesale hardware, lumber, building materials, farm supply).
