Job Description
Job Summary: SAP S/4 HANA FI TAX (with Vertex) Support Project
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in SAP S/4 HANA FI TAX, with Vertex knowledge.
- Worked on at least 1 SAP S/4 HANA implementation and 2 support projects, focused on tax in O2C (Order to Cash) and P2P (Procure to Pay) cycles.
- Strong experience in configuring and managing withholding tax (TDS) and VAT, including tax procedures, tax keys, tax conditions, and tax codes.
- Responsible for SAP configuration related to external tax calculation in O2C and P2P processes.
- Performed system analysis and review for migrating in-house business applications and master data to a standardized SAP platform.
- Experience in configuring SAP Pricing with tax procedures.
- Developed and maintained business process documentation, process flows, user guides, and FAQ sheets.
- Designed regression testing procedures for inbound/outbound processing with legacy systems (iDocs, XML).
- Developed custom reports for financial account reconciliation and Vertex reporting/databases.
- Ability to independently write functional specifications and create custom objects from scratch through to deployment.
- Experience integrating SAP with third-party systems.
- Proficient in Vertex tax engine, including tax calculation, mapping, and comparison to SAP tax module.
- Provided technical guidance for excise tax processing, compliance, and reporting within industry-specific requirements.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
- Ability to create technical design specifications compliant with functional and IT management requirements.
- Adaptable to fast-changing environments, self-motivated, and willing to work flexible shifts.
- Strong independent working style with high comprehension skills.
