The role of a Maintenance Technician is crucial in ensuring that EDEN properties remain in top condition, reflecting the organization's commitment to quality housing. Their expertise in handling routine and preventative maintenance tasks is essential for the smooth operation of building systems and preserving the physical integrity of the properties. With a focus on safety and efficiency, these technicians are skilled in diagnosing and solving a wide range of issues, from HVAC and plumbing to electrical systems. Their work is not just about repairs; it's about creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, truly embodying EDEN's mission of providing excellent housing solutions.

• Ensuring EDEN properties are well-maintained and preserved.
• Performing routine and preventative maintenance for optimal building efficiency.
• Adhering to safety protocols with appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Diagnosing and resolving a variety of maintenance issues, from HVAC to electrical systems.
• Engaging in grounds keeping tasks and general property cleanliness.
• Managing keys and access to units and common areas.
• Efficiently handling work orders and completing projects within set timeframes.
• Collaborating with team members to uphold housing quality standards.
• Maintaining agency vehicles and completing necessary paperwork diligently.
• Keeping a well-stocked inventory of maintenance supplies.
• Works "on call" on evenings and weekends on a rotating basis.
• Works "on call" from 3:00 p.m. through 8:30 a.m. on weekdays; and from 3:00 p.m. Friday through 8:30 a.m. on Monday, and all Holiday/Closed days on a rotating basis.

Trade and/or technical school training and a minimum of 2 years related work experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic are preferred. Also required is a valid OH driver's license, with good driving record, operable vehicle and proof of insurance
