Job Description

This opportunity is for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a school setting in Corning, NY. This is a contract position for the full academic school year. The role involves working closely with educators, families, and students to provide psychological services that enhance student learning and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments to identify students' learning and emotional needs
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student development
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to create effective educational plans
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
• Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
