Job Description

A dedicated School Social Worker opportunity is available in Corning, NY, serving K-12 students from September 5, 2025, to June 26, 2026. This contract role offers a full-time schedule of 32 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive social work services to support students academic, social, and emotional development.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address student needs.
• Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and connect students with community resources.
• Facilitate crisis intervention and counseling as needed.
• Maintain detailed records in compliance with school policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Social Worker License.
• Experience working in a school setting preferred, particularly with K-12 populations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams.

Location: Corning, New York
