Job Description
The Security Officer in Reno, NV is responsible for patrolling and monitoring facilities, controlling access points, maintaining incident logs, writing reports, communicating with staff and customers, escorting tours/vendors, responding to alarms and irregularities, and directing traffic.
Required Skills & Experience
• Law enforcement/Military experience or 5+ years of experience in security
• Experience with Microsoft suites
• Ability to create detailed reports
• Respond to distress calls
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Valid Driver’s License
• High School Diploma or GED
• Pass a background and drug test
Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 100 pounds
Must wear Personal Protective Equipment if required
