Senior Accountant
REMOTE
Salary: $85,000

Responsibilities of this Senior Accountant:

• Apply GAAP revenue recognition principles to financial reporting.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to maintain accuracy.
• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and month-end closing.
• Ensure accounting records are accurate, efficient, and compliant with regulations.
• Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancements.
• Prepare documentation and reports for external audits.
• Review and code credit card transactions, ensuring proper classification and entry into the general ledger.
• Oversee and approve travel expense reimbursements.
• Assist with special accounting projects as assigned by the Controller.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED for the Senior Accountant:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting is required
• Public Accounting experience
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Microsoft Dynamics experience +++
• Excel proficiency is required
