Senior Cloud Engineer

The Role
Do you want to work on leading edge cloud technologies which are transforming how developers work with cloud?
As a Senior Cloud Engineer working with in our Cloud and Platform Engineering Group you will work within a diverse team comprised of passionate technologists who believe in the power of innovation and constant collaboration. We are passionate about opensource contribution, sharing our expertise and knowledge with the engineering community while adopting a continuous learning approach support by a dedicated learning day each week.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Extensive experience working with UI technologies (React, Angular etc)
• Working knowledge of Go.
• Extensive experience working Kubernetes and Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Extensive experience applying software engineering patterns, coding best practices and principles. 
• Extensive experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment.
• Passion for new technologies and working in an agile environment.

Bonus skills

• Cloud Certifications in AWS, Azure or Kubernetes.

This is an opportunity for a highly motivated Cloud Engineer to join Cloud and Platform Engineering (CAPE) group, who are responsible for enabling the next generation cloud platforms across Fidelity. We excel in the construction of high quality, secure and scalable cloud platforms using industry-leading engineering principles and practices. We are a global team which has a passion for open source and continuous learning while pursuing engineering excellence in the cloud in a collaborative, open and transparent culture.
