Key Responsibilities of a Senior General Superintendent | Commercial Construction | Houston \n

• Lead Field Operations: Provide overall direction for field teams across one or multiple large-scale projects.
\n
• Project Execution: Ensure schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met while maintaining strong safety performance.
\n
• Team Leadership: Mentor and manage project superintendents, assistant supers, and field staff.
\n
• Subcontractor & Trade Oversight: Coordinate and hold subcontractors accountable for performance, safety, and sequencing.
\n
• Client & Stakeholder Interface: Act as the primary field representative with owners, architects, engineers, and executive leadership.
\n
• Scheduling & Planning: Oversee project sequencing, logistics, and look-ahead schedules to anticipate and resolve issues.
\n
• Problem Solving: Identify risks, troubleshoot conflicts, and implement solutions in real time to keep projects on track.
\n

A Successful Senior General Superintendent | Commercial Construction | Houston \n

• 15+ years in commercial construction with a proven track record of leading large, complex ground-up projects (high-rises, healthcare, hospitality, civic/institutional, etc.).
\n
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor multiple superintendents, foremen, and field teams across large projects.
\n
• Deep knowledge of building systems, sequencing, scheduling (Primavera, MS Project, etc.), and construction means/methods.
\n
• Strong background in enforcing safety programs (OSHA) and ensuring high-quality standards.
\n
• Skilled in representing the company to owners, architects, engineers, and executive leadership.
\n
• Capable of handling field challenges under pressure and driving solutions that keep projects on schedule and within budget.
\n
• History of long-term commitment with prior employers, showing reliability and consistency.
\n
