Software Developer (Back End) - Eagle Market Makers Chicago, IL. Hybrid WFM/In-Office Eagle Market Makers is a leading proprietary trading firm committed to leveraging technology to achieve exceptional trading results. We are looking for a talented Software Developer with a focus on back end development to join our dynamic team. Position Overview: As a Software Developer at our firm, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the back end systems that support our trading activities. You will work with a team of skilled developers to handle exchange market data and FIX messages, ensuring our trading operations run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-performance back end systems using C++ and C#.
• Handle exchange market data and FIX messages to support trading operations.
• Collaborate with front end developers, traders, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Optimize and troubleshoot existing software to enhance performance and reliability.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our systems remain cutting-edge.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in back end development using C++ and C#.
• Strong understanding and experience with handling exchange market data and FIX messages.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
