As a Specialist II you collaborate daily with ND channels and functions, CODE team (Nike’s end-to-end Seasonal process) and Sales partners, across EMEA and Global. You partner closely with the ND Sports Business Director (SBD) for your respective Sport.

You help translate strategy into execution by working within the cross-functional ND Sport squad and ground the business in the seasonal operating process (CODE) and the Rhythm of the Game (Sports Led offense). You achieve this by bringing Nike CODE and the Sports Led offense together for your Sport in ND by embracing a diverse and collaborative working culture, orchestrating CODE process integration and execution, unlocking Sport Led business operational excellence for ND.

You bring proven people skills that facilitate a constructive human dynamic behind process and operations. You listen to understand, can translate inspiration into activation, are detail and results oriented, showcase creative problem-solving skills and communicate proactively and inclusively. You are independent and self-directed while thriving in a team construct where success is created by playing together. You value collaboration, clarity, and accountability, and you know how to turn complexity into simple, repeatable, scalable systems that enable speed and confidence.

The below description outlines the required experience and background for this role:

  • Business Operations and end-to-end process management experience in retail or comparable B2C scopes of work (Small to Medium Size of Business: Sports, Portfolio, Category).

  • Proven Project management and/or consultation background (i.e. having been responsible for client business process implementation, integration and/or management)

  • Strong organizational skills across multiple simultaneous seasonal workstreams.

  • Reporting experience (Airtable, Smartsheet, Tableau, Excel).

  • B2C Business understanding with ability to connect operational decisions and actions to commercial outcomes in -but not limited to- Retail

  • Agile certification, expertise and experience is a nice to have.

  • High learning agility, proactive, clear, inclusive communication style & skills with the ability to build trust across levels and functions.

  • Proven experience building strong cross-functional relationships and driving collaboration.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You help build an integrated business operations offense for ND with CODE as the operational spine. You are orchestrating the operationalization of the ND Sport plans across channels and functions, implementing and optimizing business processes that unlock speed, clarity and consistency. Expect to spend your time facilitating the Sport squad operating model, enabling translation of strategy into operational activation, and create repeatable and scalable systems and mechanics that keep the ND business grounded in the seasonal CODE process.

  • Own Sport squad cadence: Set up and run weekly/seasonal meetings (e.g the Nike Direct IBA forum for your Sport) —define agendas, source inputs, capture decisions and actions, and track follow-through so milestones are met on time.

  • Consistently drive cross-functional collaboration: Partner with ND functions to prepare for and orchestrate seasonal operating moments—from strategy reviews to execution checkpoints.

  • Host ND Sport inspiration sessions for the Sport squad community

  • Standardize workflows and help map the big picture across ND Sports squads and channels. Simplify and document ways of working, templates and roll-ups so teams can execute consistently and effectively.

  • Maintain operational intelligence: Build reporting to surface priorities, risks and opportunities; share concise read-outs that help leaders and partners speed up decision-making.

  • Run retros and create a system of continued iteration for business improvement. Facilitate post-season reviews to identify challenges and opportunities for necessary CODE innovations, capture learnings, update playbooks.
