Combine a sound defense background with exceptional analytical and prioritization skills. You will network with Department of Defense leadership and defense prime system contractors to build relationships to facilitate expanded sales opportunities. You will work closely with defense and government customers to identify and shape their near-term and long-term requirements. You will have a passion for defense markets and products, and an ability to communicate both technically and professionally at the highest levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison for the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps in the Pentagon and surrounding Capitol Region; and as required, prime defense contractors and other Executive Branch agencies.
  • Foster new relationships and expand upon existing relationships with senior military leaders and Senior Executive Services (SES) members in the Pentagon to increase the awareness of Honeywell as a top tier defense contractor.
  • Secure reprogramming requests as well as support end-of-year funding opportunities that enable Honeywell technologies to meet emerging and urgent military requirements.
  • Support business campaigns that connect Honeywell’s Defense and Space technologies with military requirements in the annual Department of Defense budgets and associated Future Years Defense Programs.

Required Knowledge

  • US Navy or Marine Corps aviation, surface warfare, intelligence, or space related experience.
  • Senior military officer (O-6 and above) with major command or acquisition center experience and/or SES/Civilian experience in government.
  • Alternatively, 20+ years of Federal, DoD business development, capture, and/or operational experience.
  • Ability to access and maintain customer relationships with senior government officials (e.g., Colonel, General, Flag Officer, and Senior Executive Service).
  • Understanding of DOD reprogramming, budgeting process, military capability requirements, and acquisition process (e.g., Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System; Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution; Federal Acquisition Regulations).
  • Knowledge of Multi-Domain Operations, Advance Battle Management System, Joint All-Domain Command and Control, and operational mission requirements.
  • Active TS clearance preferred, and considered a plus, along with ability to achieve TS/SCI.

You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or engineering.
  • Master’s degree in any related field is highly desired.
