Staff Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Staff Accountant for a client in Hebron, KY area. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments. This position is direct hire and will pay between $55K and $70K annually.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct variance analysis and report findings to management.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor and analyze inventory costs and variances.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
