Job Description:
Serve as the primary onsite staffing and talent acquisition representative for a large-scale heavy civil engineering project in Belle Glade, Florida
Partner with corporate TA and project leadership to identify staffing needs across trades, technical, and administrative roles
Source, screen, and interview candidates for various onsite positions including laborers, equipment operators, foremen, engineers, and support staff
Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet project timelines and workforce demands
Facilitate onsite onboarding including orientation, safety training coordination, and documentation collection
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment regulations
Coordinate with HR and safety teams to ensure all hires meet project and company standards
Monitor workforce levels and proactively address gaps or surpluses
Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to forecast labor needs
Track and report staffing metrics and hiring progress to leadership
Build relationships with local workforce development agencies, trade schools, and subcontractors
Must Haves:
2-3 years of staffing industry, Talent Acquisition, or recruitment experience
Experience navigating conversations with candidates, such as qualifying, scheduling interview, hiring, and managing onboarding paperwork
Experience working with HR to ensure a smooth onboarding process
