Structural Steel Fabricator

Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday, First Shift 7:00am-3:30pm

Pay Rate: $21 - $26 / hr (DOE)

Location: Tampa, Florida 33619

Experience: 1-2 years

Structural Steel Fabricator Responsibilities:

• Weld/fabricate components, as per blueprints.
• Read/Understand schematics and blueprints for projects.
• Measuring and marking out cutting and bending lines, coping, notching, etc.
• Fabricating and constructing metal components.
• Grinding and finishing completed products.
• Use of overhead cranes, grinders, band saws, iron workers, drills
• Performing quality checks on completed products.
• Layout, fit and tack all assembly parts, holes, rails, and miscellaneous items for final welding.
• Fabricate components with minimal instruction.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to read tape measure.

Structural Steel Fabricator Preferred Skills:

• Structural Steel Fabricator should be able read and interpret blueprints.
• MIG Welding - Weld and tack steel
• Must be able to use accurately torch and laser.
• Strong math skills (computing fractions)
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Fabricator should have minimum 1 year of experience.
• Able to stand for extended period.
