This Surgery Scheduler Position Features:

Immediate need for an experienced Surgery Scheduler to join the team at this world-renowned medical organization. In this role, you will assist 2 providers with their scheduling needs. Duties will include:

-Schedule surgeries/procedures/ pre and post op appointments
-Make sure that all prior-authorizations are in place
-Submit insurance authorizations
-Coordinate pre-operative testing, EKGs, imaging, etc
-Collect all necessary signatures for procedures to move forward
-Make sure and post-op calls as directed by providers
-Other duties as needed

Requirements:
-2 years of prior surgery scheduling experience required for success
-Recent experience with an EMR system, Epic is preferred but not required.
