Job Title: Paramedic Job Specialty: EMT-Paramedic Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day - 12x3 - 07 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Paramedic license Certifications: Paramedic certification Must-Have: Holiday coverage required Job Description: - Provide pre-hospital advanced medical and trauma care before transferring patients to emergency rooms. - Assess the nature and severity of the patient's condition and identify any pre-existing medical conditions upon arrival at the scene. - Transport patients to medical facilities while providing emergency care and following established protocols and guidelines. - Monitor patients' vital signs during transit and administer additional care as needed. - Assist in transferring patients to the emergency department and report details and relevant information to the attending physician. - Document each trip after completion, restock supplies, and ensure all equipment is in good running condition in preparation for the next run.
