Job Title: Paramedic - Flight EMS Service Job Specialty: EMT-Paramedic Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 9 Hour Days Guaranteed Hours: 27 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Paramedic License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS Must-Have: - COVID-19 and Flu vaccination proof required, including boosters - Experience in emergency airway management and trauma care - Ability to travel in small aircraft, both fixed-wing, and possibly rotor Job Description: - Provide paramedic services for flight EMS in rural territories - Serve 15 communities with air ambulance services - Utilize fixed-wing transport for emergency situations - Conduct village transportation using small ATVs, snow machines, and off-road vehicles - Perform tasks in extreme weather conditions - Transport patients to higher care centers when necessary - Required holiday coverage - Utilization of Electronic Medical Records system (Cerner) Additional Information: - Proof of vaccination must include vaccine type, lot number, expiration date, date, and site administered, along with the employee's full name - Alternative titers from a diagnostic lab indicating appropriate immunity levels are acceptable, provided they are no more than 10 years old
