Job Opportunities

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PCU 2F/3F

Shift : Nights / 6p-6a (12x3) 36 hours per week, no on-call

Length : 13 weeks

Call: placed on call by HS must be available till 4AM or required to float within the system
Weekends: 4 weekend shift a month required (Friday and Saturday are weekend shift nights)

Requirements:

• TX License
• 2+ years of experience
• Must have Cardiology experience with (open hearts, heart failure, post Cath lab patients, valve patients) 
• BLS
• CV experience preferred
• LVAD experience preferred
• Meditech proficiency preferred

Other Details:

• EMR – meditech
• Number of Beds – 52 PCU
• Patient Ratios – 1:5 and PCTs take a range of 7-15 patients with a free PCT lead
  
• Type of equipment – Welch Allyn vital sign machines, GE EKG machines, pyxis machines, PC computers 3 per pod, stat strip (nova) glucometers, Philips remote tele boxes and in room monitors, Imobile iphones
