About the Job

Are you looking for something new? I’m working with a family medicine medical group in Roseburg, OR and we’re looking for an Urgent Care Physician, MD/DO to join us full-time. We are offering a Sign-On Bonus, and relocation reimbursement.

You will diagnose and treat a wide range of non-threatening illnesses and injuries, provide timely medical intervention, and ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess patients with acute medical conditions, including but not limited to infections, minor injuries, and common illnesses.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, lab work, and EKGs.
• Need to aid in diagnostics.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.
• Perform procedures such as wound care, suturing, splinting, and minor surgical interventions as necessary.
• Patient education, along with any other duties assigned.
• 40 hrs week

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified or eligible in family medicine or internal medicine.
• Active OR state medical license.
• DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care setting.
• Advanced training or certification in urgent care medicine or related field.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
