Job Title: Warehouse Associate – Cherry Picker Forklift Operator
Location: Medley, FL
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Warehouse Associate with experience operating a cherry picker forklift. This position supports the day-to-day operations of the warehouse by ensuring materials are picked, packed, and moved accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Operate a cherry picker forklift to retrieve and place inventory in designated warehouse locations.
Pick, pack, and stage orders according to order specifications.
Load and unload shipments; verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing deliveries.
Use RF scanners and maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse system.
Perform general warehouse tasks including labeling, restocking, and pallet wrapping.
Conduct daily safety checks of equipment and report maintenance needs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area in compliance with safety standards.
Assist in periodic physical inventory counts and stock rotation.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating a cherry picker forklift.
Valid forklift operator certification preferred.
Prior warehouse experience required.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods.
Familiarity with basic inventory tools and warehouse management systems.
Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures.
Dependable with strong communication skills and a positive work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
Experience in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center environment.
