Position:

Web Application Developer

Description:

The Web Application Developer will be responsible for building, maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing client-facing web applications focused on data visualization and interactivity.
These web applications will handle machine data and logs, proprietary/sensitive user-entered data, and other cybersecurity-related elements.
Users will include C-suite and high-level executives, making these apps highly visible and important for clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement user interface components and data visualizations using React, HTML, CSS, etc.
- Write, test, debug, and release code to meet user and product owner requirements.
- Populate user interface elements and visualizations from API requests and responses.
- Assist with decisions about libraries, application structure, codebase, and methodologies.
- Conduct requirements gathering and translate business needs into features.
- Optimize interfaces and screens for performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, testers, and the development team.
- Help assign parts of feature development to junior developers.
- Utilize written and oral communication skills for reporting.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of active frontend development experience for production web applications.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
- Minimum 1 year experience with API integration.
- Familiarity with application development lifecycles and workflows.
- Experience with Git and working in development teams.
- Experience handling complex JSON in user interfaces.
- Experience or willingness to learn data visualization libraries such as Nivo, Highcharts, D3, or Echarts.
- Ability to understand business needs and translate into technical requirements.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and integrating multiple systems (preferred).
- Splunk platform experience (preferred).
- Security Clearance: Minimum Secret clearance (currently active).
- Citizenship: Must be a United States citizen.

Business Hours:
- Regular business hours 7:00 am EST - 7:00 pm EST.
- Core hours are 9:00 am EST - 3:00 pm EST.
