The Wood Finisher will be responsible for formulating colors, creating new finishing techniques, matching designer samples, maintaining equipment, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Formulation of colors using Akzo Noble colorants and coatings Creation of new finishing techniques that are "production friendly" Apply ceruse, painted, and weathered finishes to match samples Produce samples to match designer's samples with short lead times Research new finishing techniques Self‑starter and willing to work additional hours as required Confirm that the correct finish is applied by checking color and sheen paperwork and ensuring it matches the sample Maintain spray equipment and work with the finishing group to keep the Finishing department in accordance with safety standards Handle all hazardous materials in accordance with state and federal guidelines, including proper tracking of materials used Position Requirements Minimum 1 year of furniture finishing experience A starting compensation range for this role is $22.00 - $25.00 per hour.
