This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent color‑matching skills, and the ability to follow established finishing processes. Key Responsibilities: Apply stains, sealers, paints, and topcoats to wood components using spray equipment and manual techniques. Accurately color match and adjust finishes to meet customer specifications or production standards. Follow established finishing processes and procedures to ensure uniformity and repeatability. Perform touch‑up and repair work on finished products as needed. Prepare and maintain finishing materials, mixing colors and coatings according to formulas as necessary. Inspect completed pieces for quality, identifying and correcting defects. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and environmental guidelines. Work collaboratively with the production and quality control teams to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards. Qualifications and Skills: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in wood finishing, preferably in a furniture manufacturing or cabinetry environment. Strong understanding of color theory and matching techniques. Proficiency with HVLP and air‑assisted airless spray systems. Experience with a variety of finishing materials, including stains, lacquers, and water‑based coatings. Ability to follow detailed finishing instructions and formulas precisely. Skill in blending, shading, and repairing minor surface defects. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing top‑quality results. Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with automated spray systems is preferred, but not required.
