Salary: $35 / Hour
We are hiring a qualified American Sign-Language Interpreter for this upcoming school year in Jenks, Oklahoma! This is a full time position, following the school district calendar, that pays $35-$45/Hour (dependent on certification level) and includes benefits! The Educational Sign Language Interpreter supports staff, students, and families by providing interpretation and translation services for deaf and hearing-impaired students. The interpreter also effectively facilitates communication between students who use sign language due to hearing loss, and students/teachers who do not.
Minimum Requirements:
State Board of Education Initial Sign Language Interpreter Certificate (as applicable)
Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) certificate (as applicable per state regulation or client requirement)
Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) certification (as applicable per state regulation or client requirement)
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
